The cover of The Drums' latest album.

In 2009, The Drums found success with their breakthrough single “Let’s go surfing” and embarked on a year long tour across the world. This week, the Brooklyn-based band released their second album, Portamento, a musical term used to mean carrying, or moving from one point to another. The title’s supposed to mark their evolution from optimistic teenage dreamers to grown up musicians and the eleven pop songs on the album feature feel-good anthems with beautiful lyrics about lost love and heartache.  We sat down for a chat with band member Jacob Graham to discuss the themes and influences behind the new album.

When appearing on Ellen DeGeneres' Talk Show on Friday, everyone's favorite Brit hottie, David Beckham decided to prank some unsuspecting shoppers at Target! David dressed up as a sales assistant named Ricky, and Ellen then told him exactly what to say. It was hilarious, to say the least.Watch it all go down in the video below!

This is what Naomi Campbell’s new home looks like from the sky. Curbed calls it an “eco-palace,” because the place, on Turkey’s Isla Playa de Cleopatra, has solar panels, a green house, a geothermal energy system and “a mechanism that harvests rainwater and treats waste water.” It was built by Luis de Garrido, a Spanish architect known for building sustainable structures. Here’s hoping she throws a party soon so we can get a view of the eyeball’s insides.

A combination once reserved for baby shower party gifts and little girls’ petticoats has gone from dated to relevant thanks from its evolution from pastel to vibrant. The spring runways married  all shades of pink with the royal blue shade on both clothes and through accessories. At J.Crew’s first fashion week presentation, the company’s ‘superstylist’ Gayle Spannaus paired a pink pleated dress with a suede cobalt satchel.  Luca Luca accessorized a neon magenta frock with blue platform heels. Karen Walker went all out with a dusty pink and deep blue silkscreen plaid underneath a cobalt blazer. Peter Som’s army of photoshopped florals were predominantly blue and often paired with fuschia—like the patent skirt above. Nanette Lepore’s vivid collection included this fringed number with a pink belt, bag and shoes to match. If you’re going to give this a shot at home, remember that “vibrant” is the key word—stay away from pastels!

Whether they’re soaring through the sky or scaling tall buildings, superheroes satiate our thirst for adventure, special abilities, and mass popularity. We might not have super powers or spend our Friday nights fighting crime, but we understand their need to look the part (awesome) while doing it. Masked, armored, or aerodynamically amped, these caped crusaders have shape-shifted themselves into sartorial icons that have inspired many designers. Take a look at these fact vs. fiction similarities and tell us which is dynamic duo is your favorite!

Hugh Jackman is probably the hottest man alive! We saw flaunt his hot bod in "X-Men" and we witnessed his charming side in "The Prestige," we just think he's so great! We love his smile and his Australian accent, he's just so perfect and dreamy! Siiiigh.

While they may have perfect hair on the red carpet or in photo shoots, not every celeb is born with the thick, shiny locks! In fact, most celebs dye their hair, get extensions, and regularly go for blow outs! The salon experience is just part of an A Lister's daily routine! We see Lindsay Lohan at the salon almost every other week and it seems like Kim Kardashian is always getting her hair dyed one shade lighter or one shade darker! Click on the pics to see our favorite celebs at the salon!

Looks from Marc Jacobs' spring collection. Photos: Imaxtree

Things that happened at Marc Jacobs’ spring show last night:

    1. It started two minutes early, at 8:28PM, and lasted 7 minutes. So when Courtney Love showed up at 8:47PM, there wasn’t a sequin in sight.

    2. Only one Fanning sat front row, Dakota, but she was accompanied by Sofia Coppola and Kim Gordon. Also, Michael Pitt crawled up to the top of the stands to watch his girlfriend, Jamie Bochert, walk the show.

    3. When the show did start, a thick gold curtain slowly opened to reveal the models draped across seats a la A Chorus Line. Like last spring’s show, all the looks were immediately revealed.

    4. Marc sat behind his girls, to the left, and counted out the beat as they rose one by one to walk the wooden runway.

    5. Each model walked just once, with no finale. There were beaded dresses, plastic wrapped skirts, thigh high stockings, silver jackets, seafoam green sweatshirts and ladylike suits. Metallic Mary Janes were cute, though the bags weren’t the best we’ve seen from Marc.

    6. Marc Jacobs took a bow in what looked like Hard Tail pants.

    7. The Dior gossip immediately commenced. Jacobs’ collection was elegant, detailed and, despite the dance-hall stage, sometimes French.

    Next stop, couture?
