In December, I wrote about friends but something else my friends and I do is Galentine's Day, a day in which you and your best girls can get together and have fun. We do this every year because it sucks to be single on Valentine's Day. In this blog post, I'll be sharing some fun ideas to have your own Galentine's Day!

Gifts- A big part of Valentine's and Galentine's Day gifts, however they do not have to be pricey or extravagant. Getting someone something as simple as a single rose and a card can mean so much and this is my friend group's tradition. Other gifts could include chocolates of course or even a photo frame with one of your favorite memories that you share together is such a good idea.

Event ideas- Valentine's Day can be quite sad if you don't have a significant other, so surrounding yourself with friends is ideal. One idea is to have a pamper day -- doing face masks and painting your nails, just focusing and taking care of yourself. Another one is to have a movie day -- super simple and a perfect time to watch romantic movies, happy or sad. Even going out for drinks or to the cinema is such a fun idea.

Movie Ideas- My friends and I have some go-to movies, such Endless Love, The Proposal and coincidentally, Valentine's Day. However, you could go anti-Valentine's Day by watching horror movies or action movies because sometimes the last thing you want on Valentine's Day is romance.

Food- My friends and I love food so Galentine's Day is the perfect excuse to eat too much chocolate. We love having snacks such as chips, strawberries, and sweets. You could even bake brownies or even pancakes or waffles and have a cute little station with toppings.
