Back to School!♡
Hey dollies! Many students around the world have returned back to school recently, or are already in school! Some are entering an exam year with important tests. I have recently finished an exam year which can be very stressful! So, I thought I would give you some tips on how to stay focused if you are in a studious year.
1. Relax - do not stress yourself out too much! It is important not to lose motivation but do not overwhelm yourself.
2. Sleep! This is very important as without sleep you will not be able to function properly and will feel very tired. Aim for at least 8 hours a night!
3. Eat a healthy balanced diet full of nutritious and energizing foods. When we are stressed, we often want to eat junk food but eating healthy food will actually make you feel better!
4. Prepare and plan your year - start studying early and make a study planner to make sure you cover everything. Manage your time as cramming at the last minute will only increase your stress levels!
5. Exercise regularly e.g. take a walk around a local park or play a sport with your friends. This will help to relieve some of your stress and improve your mood.
6. Take a break at weekends if you study hard during the week! Watch your favourite TV show or hang out with your friends.
I hope my tips help you to stay calm and focused and remember: there's always light at the end of the tunnel!
