What is highlighting?
Highlighting is used to make the high points of your face (eg. Cheekbones, bridge of the nose) stand out more. For my doll, I like to use the alabaster shade stick from transform, but if your doll has a different skin tone then you may be better suited to another shade. 

What can highlighter do for me?

Open up your eyes
This is an old trick- applying highlighter to the inner corner of your eye can make you look more awake and open up your eyes! (On stardoll you can use eyeliner for this!)

Change the dimensions of your face
Don’t have high cheekbones? That’s okay- just apply a little highlighter on them! (on stardoll this can be done for free in the face customisation settings!
If you are using one of the shade sticks from transform, you can also alter the shape of your doll’s forehead, chin, nose and anything else you could want!

Give you a dewy look
In real life, you can apply a shimmery highlighter to any part of your body you wish to make dewy-looking. This is easy, but it’s even easier in stardoll! If you change your skin tone to one that is more tanned, then slide the arrow back down to a lighter colour and then click back. Your doll will have a dewy, highlighted appearance, without spending 1 stardollar!
