It may not be as earth shattering as Raf Simons leaving Jil Sander or Stefano Pilati exiting Yves Saint Laurent, but today’s news that Derek Lam will step down (or has stepped down) from his role as creative director of Tod’s after six years is still surprising—and leaves yet another open fashion wound. WWD‘s reporting that he’s already gone, though they were unable to obtain comment from either Tod’s or Lam. Lam’s the first person to hold the position, and has definitely attracted a younger audience (along with Anne Hathaway), but hasn’t had the chance to work on ready-to-wear for the Italian brand. Perhaps he’s looking for a role in which he can design clothes for a larger brand or, on the other end of the spectrum, to focus on his ready-to-wear collection, an oft-noted favorite from the New York collections.
hawiianbody- Hello everyone! So, I've noticed another really cute trend sweeping Dollywood. Not wigs, closed eyes, or pink hair. BUT- a very very basic, simple, but classic trend. Basic StarDesign Items! When I type that, I mean one colored tops, pants, and dresses. Thankfully, if you lack StarDesign skills like me, this really lets you get the most out of the newly designed StarDesign. Here are some must have creations you can only find in the StarDesign:
Amber.Stardoll- This is amazing news! Elle Fanning is in talks to play Aurora in the upcoming Sleeping Beauty adaption Maleficent, which is slated to start filming in London starting in June. It sound so great! And no less than Angelina Jolie will be playing the the evil sorceress, the opposite of Aurora. How good isn't that sounds? We really hope this one is true! Elle would be an awesome sleeping beauty! (perezhilton)

- Recently one of my favourite trends that I've seen in real life is dip-dying your hair! For those of you who haven't heard of this or seen this, it's basically when you dye your hair a different colour, but only dye the ends of it - looking like you have literally dipped the ends of your hair in the dye!

- It has been rumors that the couple, Halle Berry and Oliver Martinez, are engaged with each other. Halle have carried an engagement ring since Janurai. But the couple has never confirmed that they are engaged. But now Oliver finally confirmed that their engagement rumors are true, he confirmed it with a simple "Yes, of course it's true." The ring that Halle is carrying is designed by Roberto Mazlo whose family has been designing jewelry for kings and queens for many centuries. Wow, we're so happy for Halle and Oliver. - So as you can probably tell the topic of this post is about rares. So tell me guys what you think, are rares overrated? Where ever I seem to go on stardoll I always find amazing designers with designs inspired by rares in Stardesign Fashion or Jewelry. I am always amazed when I see designers create something designed to look like a rare.

- Demi Lovato may have a new love in her life: Big Time Rush’s Logan Henderson! According to a witness, Demi kissed Logan at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New York City. Both were also spotted together earlier in the evening at the premiere for the Nickelodeon original TV movie, Big Time Movie. They sat next to one another, looking cozy as they posed for pictures inside. Demi and Logan are good friends and have known each other for some time.. But could this really be something more than friendship between them? We hope so! (celebuzz)
