Suite decorating is a big part of Stardoll, and your interior is one of the first things a visitor to your suite will notice. This means that being able to create awesome looking rooms is a fun and useful skill to have!  I know that a lot of you dolls have already mastered some interior decoration skills, but if you want to try some more complex suite design, try out these tips!

Start with a full idea!
Before you begin to create your scene, make sure you have an idea of where you want to end up! Try looking at some interior design photos that you love, or maybe even sketch out how you want your room to look. This will not only give you great inspiration, it will also give you a model to work off.

Remember perspective!
A complex room might have several levels and distances in it, so you have to be really careful that it looks right. Things that you want to be seen as background items should be smaller that those in the foreground! Don't be afraid to try resizing your items until they look right- one of the best things about decorating in Stardoll is that your mistakes are easily fixable!

Don't be afraid to go all out!
Try all your ideas to see which ones work and which ones don't! Use the layering tool to create your own room structure- if an edge looks wrong, it can probably be covered up. Once you have the room structure done, then add the details. That's the fun part, because you get to experiment with the items that work with your own vision and ideas! Don't be afraid to make your new room look completely different from how it did when it was empty - that just shows your creativity and skill!
