Fall 2011 Fashion Campaigns: Weird, Wild, Cool

163 måneder siden

Is it just us or are designers really pushing boundaries with their fall 2011 ad campaigns? We’ve seen some bizarre ones that pull our attention away from the clothes onto the sheer imagery displayed. Designers are becoming quite creative with their campaigns; we’re curious as to whether the unique photos are helping draw in revenue for these companies. Who knows. But it is interesting to look at!

Alexander McQueen’s explosive ad is almost sort of…zombie-like. We wish we understood the reasoning for this one.

Photo: Courtesy of Kenzo

These ads from Kenzo are a bit less weird and a bit more normal. It looks like we were thrown into the wild west. The fiercer version of the wild west, that is.

Donna Karan’s line leaves the focus on this beautiful, yet important woman who seems very in control of herself.

Dior leaves everything to the imagination in this mysterious photograph.

Givenchy ads keep the background simple but all the attention is kept on the models and their intense faces.

Photo: Courtesy of Fendi

This model serves as the muse for an artist and the gorgeous canvas for Fendi.

This ad is just plain cool. It radiates style and let’s be honest, we all want to be a part of this good-looking motorcycle gang.

Tom Ford’s ads assault you with color. All we see are bright hues jumping off the page, well that and an angry-looking model.

Photo: Courtesy of Hugo Boss

We adore the feel of this photo shoot. Hugo Boss embodied the style we like to see, the stuff that’s wearable for everyday and put it in a scene with can relate to.

Photo: Courtesy of Roberto Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli chooses dark colors and a bright, contrasting background to make his clothing stand out above the rest.

Photo: Courtesy of Tommy Hilfiger

Now here’s a picture we wouldn’t mind being in. Tommy Hilfiger portrays one big, happy, and stylish family.

There’s a quick peek into the fall 2011 fashion campaigns. Is there one you love or hate? Tell us in the comments!
