Together 10ever - darren_shan
Darren_shan joined stardoll eleven years ago. She was an active member and enjoyed participating in clubs and making friends. As she got older and busier IRL she slowly stopped logging in. Eventually her doll was deactivated. This year she contacted Stardoll support and got her doll reactivated. She wanted to share how she feels about the changes she observed.
How have you changed since you joined Stardoll?
When I started Stardoll I was 11 years old, now I am 22. I have experienced the natural changes that comes with growing up--excitement, happiness and heartache. Right now I am a university student.
What changes at Stardoll do you like the most?
When I logged on for the first time in 5 years the changes were dramatic. They're good changes, but this Stardoll certainly isnt the Stardoll from my memory. It is an entirely different game with a new generation of players. I remember the text was pink and yellow--thats how long its been. Some changes Stardolls made I dont agree with, for example, allowing items to be sold for 600 SD is too much. There seem to be more mature players now, but I think that is because when I was active, most my friends were 10-12 years old. We have all grown up. Now players seem to have different kind of mindset and different goals. I'm interested to see how Stardoll manages to keep relevant as their younger players become adults.
