Broadcasting is a very useful tool here on Stardoll, and many people watch the broadcast bar carefully to find sales and new friends.  If you want a few tips to get more dolls clicking on your messages, read on!

Use the new icons!
A recent Stardoll update has brought us optional pictures for us to add to our broadcasts - how cool is that!  Using these will make your message more eye catching, and choosing the right picture can help dolls see what your broadcast is about before they even read it.

Link it to the right place!
Make sure you tick the right box when you send your broadcast!  I have often clicked on a broadcast asking for album votes, only to be directed to the doll's suite. Many people won't bother making that extra click to find the album, so it's important to link there in the first place!

Don't deceive!
This tip is probably the most important. Sending broadcasts advertising 2 SC wigs or rare items for 2 SD, when your bazaar has only normal or overpriced items, is not only dishonest - it will also harm your sales! Many dolls who click that sort of advertisement will be running low on SD, so they might be trying to save anyway. False advertising also upsets customers, making them less likely to click on your future broadcasts!
