Some of my favorite outfits to style are the ones inspired by the 2000s, as it brings me so much nostalgia! For this blog post, I have decided to create some outfits inspired by more of a glam style from the decade. 

For my first outfit, I chose this silk scarf halter neck top, which I styled with a flippy black mini skirt. I then added classic ‘00s accessories; the big sunglasses, oversized hoops, strappy heels, and a clutch bag with hoop handle. Next, I had to style these jeans by the ‘00s brand, Baby Phat. Founded by Kimora Lee Simmons in 1999, the brand was revived last year. Ahead of the revival, it was also reported that Rihanna had bought the entire Baby Phat archive! I paired the jeans with a black camisole, with a gold chain strap, which works nicely with the gold details on the jeans. To accessorize, I added some black pumps, a shoulder bag with a gold chain strap, and some gold name hoops.

My next outfit was inspired by a classic Paris Hilton party look. I chose this glittery black draped cowl-neck mini dress, as a subtle nod to the Julien Macdonald dress that Paris wore to one of her six 21^st birthday parties back in 2002. I added a crystal choker that compliments the low neckline perfectly, and a pair of heart hoop earrings. I then went for some metallic heels and a matching mini bag. To complete the outfit, I added a tiara, but some silver butterfly clips would be a great alternative. For my final outfit, I chose a tank top with a rhinestone graphic, which I paired with a light-wash denim mini skirt. I layered a string belt at waist, but a silver chain belt would also work. I then added some strappy thong heels, a shoulder bag with chain straps, and some XL hoop earrings.
