Being Popular isn't Everything
Hi Dolls, Alice here!
Many teenage girls crave popularity - why? Because it seems like the best thing ever, everyone 'likes' you and you feel better than everyone else (although that isn't good).
I never want to be one of the 'popular' girls in my year at school - they bully others and just are plain rude. They may have a million 'friends', but at least my few are true.
Who cares if you're not as popular as them other girls just because you have a mole on your neck, or if you are not the cleverest person in the world. You are your own person and should love yourself for who you are. Don't try to be popular; try to be true to yourself.
Those girls seem to be mean to others for fun, let me tell you someting, it is not fun for the person recieving it (i.e. me). It makes us feel bad about ourselves, and having experience with that, I could never be one of them mean girls who do that.
In the early episodes of Hannah Montanna, Miley was always made fun of by two girls. These are those typical girls I mean - they are in every school and will never go away, we just need to learn to deal with them...
Yes, I am not popular.
Yes, I have a mole on my neck that I'm not proud of.
Yes, I am good at acting when that seems to be 'weird' in my year.
Yes, people think I am strange, but at least I'm different.
Yes, I may not be the prettiest girl in the world - but at least I stay true to myself.
Never try to be anything. Popularity isn't everything...
