As we now approach spring, I have decided to style some outfits suitable for the crossover between seasons. Fondant pastels are always a reoccurring trend for spring, but are typically seen on floral prints and delicate lace detail.

For my looks, I have drawn some inspiration from the TV show Scream Queens. The styling alone is so dreamy, with the fluffy coats, collars and Cossack hats, and of course, earmuffs, paired with iridescent sequins, and all in pastel shades. However, instead of using their classic preppy style, I have chosen to go with a more casual look (I published a piece on how to recreate the Chanel's look around page 4 of my blog, for anyone interested!!).

I also wanted to create looks that anyone can wear - Pastels are typically very feminine, so I have dressed them down for a more casual and super comfortable look that is suitable for all.

A key part to my looks is the comfort element. Jeans are a classic and work best in a light wash (ripped denim is a great contrast to the delicate shades). To be even comfier, I would totally try sweatpants! They are actually pretty easy to dress-up, and I would choose a slim-fit, in a colour such as white or grey.

The grey pair I have styled above are perfect as they have sparkles, but still subtle, and very Ashish!! To complete the look, I have layered pieces such as the crisp white shirt and cable knit sweater for warmth. You could also layer a slouchy t-shirt over a long-sleeve thermal top. Then, choose shoes such as heavy duty boots or converse. I love these converse from Stardesign, as they are cheap and you can create them in a colour perfect for your look!
