Beauty for Less
Dolls with limited Stardollars to spend should shop the Starplaza for beauty values.
For the price of one great Stardesign hairstyle, you can get all these items at the Plaza.I used the following products, which cost 78 SD total:
Transform - Contour Mask Classic Light Upper - 24 SD
Sunny Bunny - Lolita Blue Lenses - 4 SD
MS.TQ - Bronze eyemakeup - 8 SD
Splendid - Volume Black Eyelashes - 8 SD (you need to buy 2)
Tress Up - Venice Beach Hair - 20 SD
Doree - Orange Dream hair color - 6 SDTress Up hair allows you to change your look by just using one of the pre-set haircolors or spending just 6 SD on a new color. But some of the Tress Up hairstyles have hair that covers part of the face, and the tools do not let you send jewelry beauty items to the back. It would be nice if Stardoll would fix this problem.
Be selective when choosing a hairstyle. With the Venice Beach Hair you can see the problem area. One way to deal with this is to use the black hair color.
Proportion is one of the most important elements of beauty. Space the features on your doll carefully. Experiment with slight adjustments while you position eyes, eyebrows, nose and mouth until you find the right proportion for you. This is best done with no hair or a minimal style that lets you see the entire face. Then place the jewelry items (lenses, mask, eyemakeup and lashes.) Finally select your hairstyle and color.
Play safe and have fun.
