It's no secret that I am fascinated by vintage clothing. The twentieth century experienced so many changes in culture and style, and one decade that I love studying is the seventies. The youth reigned in the fashion industry, and ready-to-wear clothing was dominating.

A back to the Earth vibe took over, and "going green" was the thing to do. This was reflected in fashion, and folk style clothing was in. The jazz age was revived and found new life in the seventies, with movies portraying the twenties, thirties, and forties.

Romantic fantasy was the style. This produced the maxi dress, which has made a comeback and is trending right now! Disco was the dance craze and everyone wanted to keep in shape. This resulted in the leotard. 

The seventies was a change from the ladylike styles of the fifties and sixties, and provided much inspiration for the eighties. Would you like to go back in time and wear the trends of the twentieth century?
