Welcome back!

As you may or may not know, reading and writing poetry has been a great passion of mine for a very long time -- I was first published in an anthology in 2011, and continued writing on various platforms, as well as using poetry to express my feelings.

I truly believe that poetry is often underestimated in terms of the amount of power it has. Poetry can change someone's mood, perspective, or even their way of life. It is also extremely versatile as it comes in many forms, such as sonnets, slam poetry, or lyrical poetry.

This is why I am hosting a poetry competition through the StarBlog! If you think you might be interested in entering, read on...

The Details & Rules:

*The deadline to get all entries in to me is the 10th of February 2021 - this is plenty of time to get your work in!

*There are two ways you can submit an entry to me:

*You can add me as a friend, and send me your poem via Doll Mail.

OR

*You can leave your poem somewhere on your page, such as your presentation, blog or album, and send me a guestbook comment asking me to look at it.

*The original work must be yours and can not be copied or plagiarised from someone else.

*You can only submit one poem to this competition -- this is just so that everyone gets a fair chance and submissions can be processed more quickly.

*All poems must be in English, as the winning entry will be published on the English Language Starblog.

* No gifts will be given for the winning entry, however the winning entry will be published on the StarBlog and the doll who wrote it will be fully credited for their work.
