As Liz and Jimmy try to sneak into the mine, and Koskay's plot enters its endgame, Jeff also receives a message from the otherworld- from Mercy Morrow.

Faye manages to contact Liz, and along with the Black Dogs, they put a rescue plan into action- as Koskay's slaves attack.

Mercy explains that Faye can return to the land of the living, and that she can even communicate with the people she is closest to. With Finn and Lucas imprisoned, she tries to reach Liz- and to her surprise discovers that she is in Silver Cross.

Koskay tells Faye and Finn the story of his occult researches- and forces Faye to choose which of Mercy's sons will be destroyed to complete his victory. It is also revealed that Jeff is Lucas' father.

Koskay reveals his dark ambitions to Faye and Finn- to harness the immortality of Mercy Morrow's children and extend his own life forever.
