Sleeping Trouble Tips

We all have those nights where we struggle to get to sleep; it happens to me a lot of the time! Using these tips could really help you to drift off into a peaceful slumber.

- Reduce brightness of screens. Laying in bed with a bright phone screen can keep you awake, so turning down the brightness will prevent your brain from feeling alert and awake.

-Find something that relaxes you. This could be listening to music or reading a book.

-Favorite position. Laying in bed in your most comfortable position will really help you to drift off faster. Whether you lie on your back, side or stomach - find the position that makes you feel the comfiest.

- Avoid sweets and sugary foods just before you go to bed. The sugar in sweets will give you energy, something you won't want to feel just before going to bed.

-Regulate your sleeping patterns. Eventually once you do this, your body will start to feel tired at the right time of the evening. Late nights are hard to adjust to, but once you do you'll feel so much better!
