Survive your Studies!

il y a 149 mois

It's that time of the year again - the beginning of the new academic year. Are you having maths nightmares already? Do you have important exams to pass this year? Are you wondering how you're going to balance your extra curricular activities with your homework?
Have no fear - here is your essential survival guide:
1. Always make sure you stick to deadlines and give yourself enough time to complete the work, instead of doing everything last minute.
2. Prepare for your next lesson - spend 15 minutes revising your notes or read up on the next topic.
3. When taking notes, jot down key words to prompt you instead of coppying a whole sentence/paragraph. Your aim is to condense the information and only pick out the key points.
4. Set up a timetable to do your homework, and allocate set times to do them. In this way you won't spend too long on the same subject.
5. "Checklist" is the magic word. Start doing a list each day, and I guarantee you will keep your studies under control!
6. Memorisation - there are some things you just have to learn by recital, ie equation in chemistry or formulas in maths. Try writing whatever you need to memorise and repeat it a few times. Do 3 different ones at a time. Pause. Then test yourself.

Above all; relax, don't stess and don't forget learning is fun! Follow these simple steps, and you'll be in for an amazing academic year!
Good luck, dolls!
