Hi Dollies :)
This is a topic where I always get a lot of compliments and questions about, soI thought I'd share some tricks I have learned along the way: how to create a 3D room:
1. Take a look at how things look in real life.
2. Decide on the depth want your room to have.
- the deeper the angle the further something appears.
- the straighter the angle, the closer something appears.
3. Dont forget your shadows.
-if you are creating something further away, shadows help to create that depth (you can
use the cupboards found in DIY, they're cheap and cost Starcoins so they work best :D)
4. Make sure you size your objects correctly.
- the further an object is, the smaller it will look.
- the closer something is, the bigger it will look.
- it always looks confusing when you have something further away that is almost the
same size as an item up front.
5. Take your time :)
- if something doesnt look right to you, keep resizing and rotating until your happy.
6. if you are going to create a indepth room, the most important rule is, don't forget your ceiling; this instantly adds the illusion of a 3D room.
Happy Interior Designing.
See you in my next post.
