Preparation for Finals at School

It's that time of year when just before the Holidays we'll be getting lots of work to do, projects, tests and exams to study for. But, how can we manage to do everything at once? Here's a simple list to help you prepare for your finals just before your Christmas vacation. No pressure whatsoever.

 

Tip #1: List everything on a piece of paper. From projects to presentations to exams. Make sure to note which comes at the earliest, to have to study for it first.

Tip #2: Keep everything aside. All electronics and distracting devices. You must put in mind to go on without your cellphone or laptop for at least 4 hours a day to get ready.

Tip #3: Make a health schedule for yourself. For example, get a good night sleep for at least 8 hours before the exam and eat your breakfast even if it's only a piece of toast with a cup of milk or orange juice.

Tip #4: Do not try to push yourself too hard. Pressurizing yourself to get higher marks will only get you nervous before, during and after your exams until the results are out. Hence, being nervous will cause distraction from studies and lack of healthy thinking.

Tip #5: Review your work. Do not miss out on anything no matter how small of information it may be. Everything is essential. Keep a notepad with you at all times in Review sessions at school and make sure to have questions written before hand to ask the teacher for help about certain things.
