Don't you hate it when you realise you have no money on you? It seems to always happen when you're extremely hungry for a chocolate bar, or when you desperately need those jeans. 

I wanted to make a post on saving money, an everyday issue, both on Stardoll and in the real world.

1. NEED OR WANT?

Think: do you actually need that item? Or is it something that you want, right now, although you could buy it later? If it is a need, then it is usually okay to buy it. But if it isn't going anywhere soon - and isn't necessary - think twice before handing your money over.

2. LIMITS

Give yourself a spending limit. It could be spending up to £20 in two weeks, while the rest of the money is stored somewhere safe. Turn it into a habit.

3. BULK BUY

If you need a large quantity of an item, buy a multipack. For example, buying a large bulk of toilet rolls is cheaper than buying maybe two a week.
