Anyone who knows me know that I love cats, and this is the perfect opportunity to introduce you all to the manul!

 
This fluffy wildcat lives in Central Asia, and is also known as the Pallas's cat.  I really encourage you to learn about this interesting and majestic creature - it's definitely worth it!

The manul is about the same size as an everyday housecat, but its long, thick fur makes it look much bigger!  It actually has thicker fur than any other species of cat, which helps it keep warm in the snowy, mountainous areas where it lives.  What's more, it makes it look adorable!

One of my favourite features about the manul is its big, round eyes.  In addition to helping it spot and follow prey, the manul's eyes are very expressive, meaning that they can pull some very interesting faces!  The most common expression that people see in these cats' faces seems to be grumpiness - which looks cute, but also helps remind us that the manul is a wild animal, not a pet!

Manul cats always have the best quality of life in the wild, as they often get sick when they are brought to captivity.  To help make sure that these beautiful wildcats are able to survive and live in the best place for them, try learning about different ways to take care of the environment.
