Season in and season out, Alice + Olivia designs party dresses that make even the most boring conversationalist look like she’s fun to be around. It explains why scenester girls regularly flock to the New York-based label’s presentations—and the spring ’12 collection was no exception. Kourtney Kardashian was given a tour of the ‘60s-inspired pieces by designer Stacey Bendet herself while DJ Mia Moretti and violinist Caitlin Moe rocked out. “So pretty!” Kardashian exclaimed to no one in particular as she walked past four models in frothy, floaty pieces in varying shades of cream. Soon after, the singer Jordin Sparks arrived, wandering around the AstroTurf-lined space while sipping on one of the frosty drinks being served up. There was one party girl who stayed away from the bar: Lydia Hearst. She said, “Honestly, I think more people need to hydrate and drink more water during Fashion Week. It’s the only way to survive.” So if champagne is out of the picture, what makes an ultimate party? “You want everyone to be fashionable, everybody to actually show up on time instead of being the quintessential New Yorker who’s fashionably late, and you want a fun, flirty outfit. That’s kind of how I feel about this,” said Hearst, pointing to her red sequined Alice + Olivia sheath.

Rachel Zoe presented her latest collection yesterday afternoon to an incredibly long line of editors and buyers, all there to sing the mega-stylist’s praise while sipping cucumber coolers. ”It’s about Bridget Bardot when she was spending a lot of time in St. Tropez with Serge Gainsbourg,” she said of her Spring designs. With her label now it its third season, The Rachel Zoe Project back on Bravo and as popular as ever and a new protegé to dress up, baby Skyler, Zoe has no shortage of reasons to celebrate. “He’s here with me, he’s just hiding in the back.” she told us of the baby. ”Now I wear a lot of black because it’s easy to brush off the spit up and formula. And I don’t walk around with him while wearing heels…it’s dangerous.” The spring collection, filled with Zoe’s signature long flowing dresses, sharp jackets and a new range of shoes and bags is, “effortless, easy, glitzy, glam,” and comes in a surprising array of neutrals with pops of cobalt and red. It had us thinking about where this woman finds the time, “It was really hard to miss my friend’s shows [this week], usually I’d be at six shows a day” she said. Instead, she’s made it to two. Sounds like she’s OK with it though: “I’m living my dream!”

Amber.Stardoll- Kardashian reality star, Kylie Jenner, recently walked at New York Fashion Week for Avril Lavigne's collection, Abbey Dawn! Kylie looked super fierce with maroon dyed tips and dressed in Avril's signature punk chic style! Will Kylie move from reality to runway? We hope so! But we suspect that Kylie's older brother, Brody Jenner, who's dating Avril, may have had something to do with this!

hghgd- Kaikki ovat varmaan huomanneet että syksy saapuu kovaa vauhtia, ja se vaikuttaa mielialaan jonkinkin verran. Koulut/työt ovat mitä luultavammin alkaneet kaikilla, ja unirytmin kanssa on ollut ongelmia : )

- A lot of you guys cried when we told you that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev were dating and we totally understand, there is no one hotter than Ian! But it seems that Ian and Nina are really serious and really in love, so if you had any last hope of snagging Ian for yourself you better resign! :)
The two were recently at a party where they gushed about each other and why they are in love. Ian said, that there are "a million things" he loves about Nina, including that "she truly enjoys life...her desire to experience and appreciate everything around her, and chuckle and enjoy it, is great." And Nina is equally enamored, "He always has a positive outlook and positive energy, and he's always happy," she said about Ian.
What we love most about Ian and Nina is that they really try to have a real relationship, they keep things low-key and their romance isn't constantly pap'd. It's genuine. Which is why think that in the next few months Ian is going to propose to Nina! We love it! (usmagazine)
