Studying Tips
When exams are around and you need to recap call of your work, everything else just seems more interesting. You could go and plant a garden or even help with household chores. Here I've gathered up a few tips to help you actually study and pass that test.
Pick up the book and start reading it. As silly as it may sound, tips and tricks aren't worth trying if you just cann't read the book, but once you start reading you will continue.
Avoid distractions. Items such as tablets, cell phones, computers and televisions should be off and far away from you, along with any pets or noisy relatives, as they usually break your focus and distract you.
Make notes as you read. Grab a pencil, a pen or a highlighter and highlight the important things as you read. Write little definitions in the margins as you read. While writing and highlighting, you tend to read more slowly and process it better than when you read in a bulk.
If you're reading from a test book answer the end of chapter questions and the checkpoint questions in between. These questions are usually in details of what you read and cover everything based on the chapter, mentally answer them, you'd know which areas you need to re-read.
Chew some gum while studying. Chewing gum keeps you focus and it doesn't make you hungry while studying, hence you wouldn't need to break your focus and find something to eat.
Make a formula list, take a picture of it and make it your lock screen. This way, when your are on your phone, you unconsciously reread these formulas.
There you have it my quick tips. But remember tips and tricks won't work if you just don't read the book. Take some me time and metally prepare yourself, keep saying "I'm going to read it"
