Heya everyone,

Well guess what? It's that time of year again, and Christmas is right around the corner as advent is getting ready to start.

The date that Advent starts every year changes, but this year it will offically begin on the 2nd of December according to the church. Advent's dates change, but this is because they start on the nearest Sunday to the feast of St. Andrew the aposile, which happens to be the 30th of November.

This means that Advent can start as early as the 27th of November, or can start as late as the 3rd of December.

Traditionally this time is celebrated with prayers and singing christmas carols in the lead up to the believed date that Jesus was born onto this Earth.

At my school we have already started singing Christmas carols (I attend an Anglican School), I would love to know how your prepare for Christmas during this time of Advent.
