Hi dollies!
I'm back with some more inspiring females. This time it is for those women of the modern day and age.
- J.K. Rowling - Author of the Harry Potter series, lost billionaire status as she gave so much to charity.
- Malala Yousafzai - Fought for young womens' education in Asia and youngest person to ever achieve a Nobel Prize.
- Emma Watson - Activist in the feminism movement, actress best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series. First actor to win the gender neutral award.
- Michelle Obama - Lawyer and activist for womens' and girls' rights. A patron for many charities.
- Queen Elizabeth II - Longest reigning monarch in British history, supporter of many charities.
- Beyoncé - Activist for 'Black Lives Matter' who empowers women in many of her songs. "Who run the world? Girls!"
- Serena Williams - Won the Australian Open whilst 8 weeks pregnant. Has been the tennis world number 1 and is a leading activist in body positivity.
- Kay Goldsworthy - First Australian Bishop.
There are so many empowering women from the past to present day who we can all be proud of!
