loz12345Grey - Anything But Old

Hello, dolls!
Long gone are the days in which the only hair colors ever seen were blonde, brown, black and red. From the street to the high-fashion runways, society is embracing colorful hair. Grey hair, whilst not as colourful as some of its counterparts, is a beautiful choice that can be used as both a statement and a compliment to makeup. Today's look is sweet, girly, and can be recreated in many different ways.
Eyes: I opted for eyes that used low, natural tones, to give subtle color against the grey hair. Dusty pinks are ideal. Line the eyes with a black wing, white to open the inner corners, a pink on the waterline for a pop of colour. Finish with delicate lashes to suit the girly look.
Lips: Choose a vibrant shade, such as a deep brown or berry, otherwise the color will wash your doll out when coupled with grey hair. Colorful shades such as purples also work wonderfully.
Face: Color the cheeks with a soft pink, and add subtle contour. The natural, glowing face will set off the grey hair wonderfully. Add a very light highlight if you must, on the cheekbones and browbones.
Grey hair is a unique hair choice, that is for everyone - not just those who have natural grey hair! It can be the springboard for a myriad of colorful or subtle looks and is truly a great choice. Grey ombre is another choice that is also definitely worth having a look at.
Hope you enjoyed!
