DIY Autumn Leaf Mason Jar Candleholder

Hey, guys!

I was looking through my storage the other day, and I found this cute little light. It was a freebie from last Fall, but I thought it was so adorable and cozy. So naturally, I wanted to DIY it because who doesn't love cute, cheap and easy to make decor? Let's get started!

What you need

Mason Jar

Autumn Leaves (I recommend using storebought leaves because they are more flexible, and less prone to snapping.)

Mod Podge

Foam Brush

Ribbon (optional)

How you do it

Using your foam brush, paint a thin layer of Mod Podge to the area you want to place your leaf. One the glue is tacky stick the leaf on the jar, being sure to smooth it out and get it to lie nice and flat. When you're done doing that paint another thin layer of Mod Podge over the leaf. Do this until you cover the jar, or until you like the way it looks.

Once you've covered the entire jar, apply a third layer of Mod Podge all over the leaves, being sure to get the edges thoroughly covered in Mod Podge. If you want, you can tie a ribbon around the rim of the jar to give it your own flair. Once you're done, insert a flameless candle inside.

I can't get over how fantastic these look! I definitely think you should give it a go. If you have any suggestions for future posts, then tell me in the comments!

Good luck!
