Rocking Rainbows
In honour of the recent celebration of LGBT+ Pride month (June) in America and across the world, I decided to write a post about styling your rainbow clothes. Pride month marks the anniversary of the Stonewall riots in America, which began the fight for LGBT+ rights in the US. The rainbow flag is important to members of the LGBT+ community, as it represents the diversity of LGBT+ people, and is an important symbol to many. If you want to show your LGBT+ pride in the way you dress, here are some styling options!
Subtle Fades
One way to wear rainbows is to wear items in which the colours fade into each other, like the dress in the photo above. This option is great for those who want a softer look that still shows off what you're all about!Bold Accents
Another option is to choose bold rainbow accessories, and wear them with a neutral base. Rainbow shoes are always fun- see the example above! You could also go for a bow, bracelets, a tie, a big pendant necklace...Bold Everything!
Pride is all about being proud to be LGBT+, so if you connect with the rainbow motif and it means something important to you, it's totally fine to go a little (or a lot) overboard! You do you - and spread love wherever you go.What makes you proud to be who you are?
