Pandaribbon - DIY Pose Queen!

I was recently very lucky to get the chance to interview Pandaribbon, a creative doll who makes DIY poses for her doll. Check out our interview to learn how you can create your own poses too!

Q. Can you explain how to do a DIY pose?
A. DIY posing takes a lot of creativity. The easiest post to do is a straight leg pose - all you have to do for that is figure out how to cover your leg! You can also do poses with hands, although those are a bit tougher and require a bit more effort. A while back, I had my doll hold a can of soda by covering her arm with a large scarf and using a hand shaped jewelry display to hold the can. It was bright pink, but in a lot of cases, the idea is what people really see - the execution doesn't have to be flawless, there just needs to be some innovation.

Q. Do you have any tips for items to use in the posed outfit?
A. The PPQ coat I used in this outfit is a great option for covering up legs - all you have to do is find a relatively small object to cover up your foot, and you're set. If you don't have the coat, I love using big dogs- Mr. Barksley from Furry Friends is a cute choice. There are also guitars available that do a good job, or if you have a held jacket, like the one recently released in Pals, you can use that.

Q. Is there anything else you'd like to say to the Stardoll community?
A. You don't have to have a lot of stardollars to put together nice outfits, you just have to be creative with what you do have. Being memorable and kind is what will bring people back to your Suite. Innovate and try something new out!
