As The Saying Goes
Hi dolls.
I'm sure we've all heard the saying "If you've nothing nice to say then keep quiet" or variations of this phrase at least.
For me, I completely agree with this and actually experienced it this week. Sometimes we can all be a little bit moody and this was me on Tuesday this week.
I was really stressed out and did not want to speak much at all. The next day when I got into class though, I heard my friends speaking about me. They didn't even notice I was there and I was so upset.
Here are some ways of resolving situations with your friends without having to speak about them behind their back.
Speak to them. Seems obvious right? It's true though, I would've been much happier and it wouldn't have caused an argument between us if they had just given me some space or asked me what was wrong.
Giving them some space. As above, whether it is you who's done something wrong or them. Sometimes a little head space is all we need. A chance to sort out our feelings and get our mood back on track.
Comforting them. As friends we can always tell when another is upset. My friends knew I was upset, they just went the wrong way about figuring it out. Try comforting your friends with things they like or by cheering them up.
Me and my friends are all sorted now, we hugged it out and I made the first move as it was me that was moody to begin with.
Hope this post helps you.
