Inject some Bollywood style to your wardrobe with these top tips! I am often asked where I get Indian-inspired clothes from and how I put together the bollywood look. Here's how:
INSPIRATION: Although traditional Indian clothing depends on region, religion and community, the wide variety of styles are iconic and can easily be associated to India. For example, there are different styles of Sari, but all consist of a long sheet of fabric with pattern and embellishment/embroidery, draped over a blouse. Other types of clothes include dupatta, churidar and sherwani. I strongly recommend you check out designers Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and Tarun Tahiliani.
ON STARDOLL: To begin with, you want to look for anything flowing and patterns - scarves, skirts, light-weight dresses and printed tops. Your "Basics" in Starplaza act as your base to build your look on. Secondly, you want to look for bold jewellery - gold is an iconic look - Look out for bangles, necklaces and earrings. Of course, you can even design your own!
