- While we love winter for it's cozy snowfall, hot cocoa, and lazy days snuggling under a blanket, we kinda hate it too! It can be so hard to accessorize in the winter when the first priority is just staying warm. And unless you have the coat wardrobe of Blair Waldorf, chances are your winter wardrobe is pretty limited.Thankfully we have hats and gloves and scarves to play with! One of our favorite accessories is the scarf, it comes in all kinds of fun colors, patterns, and materials. We really love big, chunky knit scarves, but we're also kind of crazy for sheer, patterned scarves! We must have over 50 different scarves! - Forget minis and maxis, the newest skirt length is the midi! We love this demure yet foxy length, perfect for colder weather, but still shows a bit of skin! We've spotted some of our favorite celebs looking fab in midi dresses, like Keria Knightley who wore an amazing Roksanda Ilinicic dress to the London Film Festival! We also loved Mena Suvari's classic black pencil dress, what a perfect LBD! The key to the midi is to get it in a classic pencil skirt shape, tight at the hips with a slight flare towards the bottom. - While it may seem obvious, sometimes the most basic colors look amazing together! We recently spotted some of our favorite celebs rocking blue and red, and we think it looks stunning! The trick is to not go overboard! Instead pair red lips with a navy blue dress or a blue blazer with a red clutch! We love how redheads like Emma Stone and Julianne Moore wear various shades of blue, it looks great with their hair and pale skin!
