Today's focus is on reflecting mood through colours.

Whenever I am on stardoll or in real life, I always try to reflect a mood in my rooms. This is easily created by choosing the right colour.

Here are some colours that you could try:

Black - This creates a very sophisticated, chic and gothic mood. Try add in some dimly lit bulbs to enhance this effect.

White - This colour is very pure, and creates a lot of light. It also suggests a modern and bright mood. Why not add in some bright objects to show a retro vibe?

Neutral colours (brown, beige, cream etc.) - These colours all create a light and warm environment, they are typical shades that are base colours. Try using black and white objects or one other colour to help lift some personality.

Bright colours (red, blue, green, yellow etc.) - They all provide a fun and striking atmosphere! While red shows a passionate colour, yellow provides happiness. Why not try another bold colour to emphasise the mood?

Dark colours (plum, navy blue, burgundy etc.) - These colours reflect a rich and intense mood which could also show some gothic vibes. Try black features to portray an even richer mood.

Pastels - These are perfect to add some light and subtlety. It creates a happy atmosphere and generally great for children. Why not add a few mirrors to brighten the room a bit more?
