If there was one piece of advice I would give to anyone and everyone who is new to stardoll it would be to Cover the Basics. There are lots of ways to do this, but I'm going to talk about some that I would highly reccomend today!

1. Find the perfect pair of black trousers
Never underestimate the power of a well-tailored pair of black trousers. I don't think there is anything they won't go with!
 

2. Pick your black bag!
Handbags are amazing, and Stardoll has an amazing range! The classic black handbag is a good starting point. A good black bag is endlessly versatile!
 

3. A good pair of black boots
Not only are they going to look gorgeous and go with so many things but they can change up any look. One pair could go biker chick or girly like I did depending on what you pair them with. 
 

4. Your monochrome items
Black and white are your Number one colours for pairing odd bits and bobs with, they can pretty much go with anything (or all go together)!
 

5. Take a trip to the basics store
This store has everything you will ever need, and more! From crazy coloured jeans (as shown below) to a classic white tee, and even better - it's all Starcoins!
