Humans moonlighting as vampires come to an end with Twilight’s Breaking Dawn set to release this summer. Which makes it a perfect time to introduce a new villain in town—don’t worry, he’s cute, too. Meet MTV’s new Teen Wolf star, Tyler Posey, who plays Scott McCall. Move over Taylor Lautner, there’s a new teen wolf in town. He’s got more than wolf in his blood.

This Santa Monica native is Irish, English, and Mexican. Tyler, 19, started his acting career performing alongside his actor/writer dad, John Posey, at the age of six. After picking up small roles in CW’s Smallville and got smooched on the cheek by Jennifer Lopez in Maid in Manhattan (he played her son, Ty Ventura), Tyler makes his big break as the lead character in MTV’s highly anticipated series, Teen Wolf.

The commercial leading up to its premiere featured Tyler’s nails growing out like weeds of a tree and sprinting through a dark forest. But rest assured he was shirtless. Tyler’s sharp jawline and sweet smirk frames his eyes ever so perfectly. And his swift soft hair puts Bieber to shame. Ripped abs pre-hairy wolf transformation? The Situation who? Exactly. This ever-shirtless hunk recently told Seventeen magazine that he and, gasp, Miley Cyrus dated for two years. “I worked on a TV show called ‘Doc,’ starring Billy Ray Cyrus,” he told Seventeen. “When I was 9-years-old, his daughter, Miley Cyrus, was my first kiss and girlfriend. We dated for two years and broke up when we were 11.” I guess that’s good news for us, right? Let’s make sure they don’t rekindle old flames—a girl can dream.
