Some items on stardoll are particularly well sought after because not many people have them. These items are known as 'rares'. Most of the rares are rare because when they were in starplaza several years ago few people bought them, and many of those that did no longer play stardoll and can sell them. Making the few available very well sought after.
How can you collect these rares?

1. Check out Callie's Picks.
Occasionally, Callie will choose a rare item to place into her store. This does, however, stop that item being quite so rare.

2. Search the starbazaar (in the shop tab)
The search functions in the starbazaar are super useful. You can search directly for LE, Young Hollywood, DKNY, ELLE, Strike a Pose or any other store you might want! You can even set your maximum budget here!

3. Keep an eye on broadcasts
Occasionally people will advertise their starbazaar sales in the broadcasts and sometimes these sales might include rare items!

4. The Royalty Club
If you are a royalty member, you can take a look at the royalty club discussions. Here you will find one where people are able to advertise their sales (which might have rare items!) and wishlists- you can even do the same!

5. Just play stardoll for a very long time!
The best way to collect rare items is to play stardoll for several years. My stardoll page is celebrating it's 7th birthday this June, and in those 7 years I have accumulated items from all kinds of closed down stores in Starplaza- some even from sales!
