Hungry vs. Bored

Too many people eat out of boredom, myself included. Eating is for nutrition and energy, not for entertainment. Don't form the bad habit of eating while "bored" because it's extremely hard to break! Here is a short list of things to do while bored:

-Drink water! Sometimes we're not hungry, we're just thirsty.

-Exercise! You should be doing this anyway, so when you're reaching into the cupboard, let this be a reminder to get out those weights or a yoga mat.

-Read! A good book, a magazine, or the Starblog! (Hint, hint!)

-Organize something! Anything you want to, from your closet to your computer. You can find clothes that don't fit, delete old documents, and much more!

-Take up photography! This is one of my top picks, because I did this when I was bored. I took photos with my mobile device and then edited them with a free photo app!

-Paint your nails! You can't exactly have a snack around that toixic liquid, can you?

-Talk to a friend! Texting is fine, but I tend to take a few bites here and there while waiting for a reply. Try the phone, (I am completely old fashioned, I know) people can hear you munching!

Hope this helps with your problem! Remember, stay healthy instead of hungry. If you are truly hungry, then eat! Don't skip a meal to be skinny!
